HR Positions



In this blog I am mentioning the various opportunities in HR for today's professionals.

In today's environment the HR Careers are very wide and each of individual function responsibility has turned to be a great Career to build.

The key Focus on 4 segments of HR : Recruitment, Employee Relations, Performance Management and Training. May be each of these functions offered a wide variety of the positions to grow.

Some of the List representing hierarchy includes as follows(Please note the designations would change based on the organisation size and complexity and their internal organisational design ( review www.hrsme.blogspot.com for more info on the organisational design)- the job exceptions differ accordingly). Please note the Executive word is used for top most positions in some of the countries and companies..In India its used at the team member level:

Sr.Vice President / President - HR
Sr.Director - HR / Vice President - HR
Director - HR / General Manager - HR
Sr. Manager - HR
Manager - HR
Asst. Manager - HR
Sr. Executive - HR
Executive - HR / Officer - HR
Trainee / Management Trainee
HR Co-ordinator
HR Assistant
All the designations may have a suffix based on the further functions like - Recruitment, Compensation & Benefits (C&B), Training, Employee Relations etc., eg. executive - HR, Executive-Recruitment, Executive-C&B, Executive - Training
